Welcome to Ravencrest, the most ignorant place on the planet and a serene, growing town located in the northern part of Oregon. The town takes pride in keeping up it's appearance, but the highlight of it all is the high school located in it's outskirts: Ravencrest High School.
The buildings have been around as long as anyone knows, but only a few months ago did it open to become the town's only school. No one knows the who or why the stone-walled structures were built, but then again not many people care too much. The school seems to be the oldest structure standing, with extensive dining halls and luxurious courtyards.
The problem?
Every year, more and more students are decided not to return home, staying at the school after graduation or disappearing altogether. Sometimes students go for a semester, only to never return. There have been a few attempts at an investigation, but all have come up negative. There isn't a single trace of these missing kids and nothing incriminating to pin the happenings on the school, and life continues there like nothing ever happened. Most have an idea of what is going on but don't care to get involved, while some are blissfully unaware that anything is happening at all, normally going to school and laughing at the suggestion that something may be amiss. After all, there's no such thing as witchcraft.
Still, the town poured in massive funds for the school, and they aren't about to let it all go to waste. So what if some kids go missing? Maybe they've gone to live out their dreams elsewhere. Who cares if the principal is a weirdo? It's not like she's a murderer or anything. Who cares if some families are destroyed? If it's not mine, I don't care.
Yea, things are crazy right now, but you have to look at the brighter side: no proof means nothing's really wrong. Ravencrest is the most peaceful, perfect town in Oregon; nothing can go wrong. So join us, we'll make your stay worthwhile. Nothing's wrong, nothing's going on, and if there was, just look at..
