Running. Running.
Minoru had to get away. He couldn't be like this around other people. He just couldn't look like this. He didn't even know what "this" was. What was he? He didn't dare stop and contemplate it though, he was still in the city, still under the bright lights that illuminated the sidewalk. No, he didn't dare stop, lest someone see him in the state he was in.
It was raining, he finally decided upon, as his face was stung by thousands of little water drops. He was running at such a speed that the rain actually hurt. But what kind of creature ran in such a repulsive way? That was a good question. It was more of a lope, a very wide one, with his arms swinging at his sides. He came to a stop alongside a building and in the light of a nearby street lamp he looked himself over quickly while he caught his breath.
His head was oddly shaped, and what seemed like long antennae type things were more like large rabbit ears. His eyes had become large and had a slitted pupil, but still retained their green coloring. His skin had become almost a leathery brown-orange, and his mouth was filled with a row of sharp teeth that fit snug together into a tight grin. He was missing most of his shirt, and his pants were miraculously in once piece. Along with this horrible physical transformation came the repulsive smell of decaying flesh and decomposing waste. Not exactly the most charming of smells.
His break was short lived, however, when a street dog found him and chased him away, and Minoru continued his sprint for the outside of the city, to the forest on the edge. It took him a fairly long amount of time to get to the forest, and once he was there he tromped through the undergrowth, not risking the edge. After minutes of walking he found what looked to be a lake and a few rocks near it. It was still raining, and the falling precipitation seemed to be harder and relentless in the depth of the forest.
Without much else to do, he sat himself down on a rock and stared at his repulsive form in the water, wondering what had happened that resulted in him taking on monstrous form.
"What happened to me..." he growled.

Rain. He honestly had no idea why he was outside in the rain. He hated being wet, but something told him he should make a effort to come out here. To him, something just didn't seem right. Plus he had heard that something had been lurking around. Some type of monster with a horrible smell coming off it. All of those things sounded way too familiar and then piecing it altogether he knew what it was. There was a new cat and the curse had picked up once more. The monster had been unleashed and it was now on the loose. Someone must have been stupid enough to lose the Juzu bracelet which meant it had to be found and quickly. Kyo went rushing right through town and was now on the hunt. He knew all too well what that thing was capable of and he didn't want to see anyone hurt, that was the last thing he wanted. He guessed he knew where it would be, that was where he went when it happened to him a couple years ago. And in front of Tohru, and all because Kazuma. Why he did it, even he still doesn't really know but he was going to make sure it was contained.
Kyo kept going, noticing foot prints and right off the bat he knew what they belonged to. "So...you've shown yourself again..." he said to himself. His orange hair hanging in his face since he was now soaked. Tohru would get at him for this later. But if he got sick right now, he didn't care. So he looked at the forest and narrowed his eyes and then clenched his fists. He then huffed and then rushed right off into the dark area and was now on the look for the creature. The rain was cold, it stung his flesh when they collided, it got into his eyes and caused his vision to become blurred but that didn't stop him. If anyone knew him they knew he was quite stubborn. And even though he hated the rain and getting wet, he was more then determined to find the creature and see what he could. He wanted to help since he knew what it was like so he was going to help in the best way he knew how.
But now that he thought about it, he started to think they had still had the bracelet. But that couldn't be, he gave it back when the curse was lifted. Kyo then slipped a couple times from the mud under his feet but that still wasn't stopping him. But then he suddenly got hit with a familiar but a horrible smell, he was close. As he kept going he noticed a rock by some water. Which sat a rather large and dark gray creature. He narrowed his eyes and then went over, he had found it. It was just like he remembered, but now instead of being the creature, he was staring at it. Which was odd but still, it had to stopped. "Never thought I would be looking at you...I'm still too used to being you..." he said as he walked even closer, he was trying his best not to gag, but he held himself together pretty well. He wanted to get a closer look at it and then see what he could do. He sighed and then shook his head as he stopped a couple feet away, looking at it through his strands of wet hair. It was now or never.

Footsteps. They were running toward him. Who would be stupid enough to run after him? He growled, looking back toward the forest. The running had stopped, the sound of someone slipping on mud. He stayed sitting, but just watching. He was curious as to what kind of person had the guts to follow him, and into a forest none-the-less. When the orange-haired man emerged from the trees he stood up, growling. However, it seemed like the he had stopped of his own accord. It was probably his smell that had frozen the man. Minoru grunted and sat back down on the rock, glaring down at the water and not bothering with the other guy. He would leave soon enough, the smell that he emitted would drive him off.
"Never thought I would be looking at you...I'm still too used to being you..."
Minoru was confused, really confused. This man had been in the same situation? Or did he mean something else? He turned back to look at the soaking wet man. No, he could only mean one thing by what he had said. The man standing in front of him had been like this once before. Minoru stood back up and walked slowly over to the orange-haired man.
"Who are you and why are you here?" he growled, almost snarling. He didn't sound like himself, he couldn't even tell it was himself speaking. He stepped closer to the other male, looking him over. "What do you know about what I am? Were you like this once before?" This came out as a snarl, and he bared his teeth. Maybe the man would get frightened off a leave. That was a good option, but if he knew what had happened to him that was a better option. He snorted and went back to his stone seat, setting himself down onto it and staring.
"Well?"

He stood there, not getting any closer at the moment. He knew how hostile and vicious the creature could be. He could never fully control that monster, not that he had to worry about it anymore because it had passed to another. Kyo noticed the creature turn and look at him, he took a deep breath and then he felt his heart picking up some speed with nervousness, he had never had to deal with this creature face to face. He had always seem others coming at him looking like that, and the last person to see him like that was Tohru. Who he nearly ripped to pieces, thinking that made him twitch. He was glad he would never have to re live that since the creature had left him. But he did feel bad for this kid, because he knew all too well it was like and it was giving him the shivers to even just look at the thing. But he felt pretty bad as well since it would take a toll on the person who had to deal with it. So maybe if he could try and communicate with the kid then he would get through to him and see if he can figure out how this even happen and put a stop to it.
But then Kyo noticed the creature looking right at him and he froze where he was. Not that he was really moving. Then he heard it speak and he then narrowed his eyes a little bit. He guessed this kid had never known there had been others with this same issue. "I'm Kyo Sohma and I happen to kind of sense that something was wrong" he had a soft tone to his voice which was odd for him. But talking to the creature in a gentle tone seemed to always kind of let it know that the person was of no harm to it. He learned that from Tohru when he did it to him when it had happened a couple years back. He then shivered a little bit with the cold water causing his skin to become quite numb, but he was ignoring that since he had bigger issues to worry about at the moment. But then hearing him speak once more and narrowed his eyes. Yes, he had been that creature once. It was awful, he would always feel like such a monster when that thing dwelled inside of him.
He then nodded softly and then took another breath. He guessed now was a good a time as any to explain a little bit of how things go with that thing. "Yes I was, I was the cat before you so I know alot about it" again he was speaking calmly so that way nothing violent was to happen. Kyo then took a couple more steps forward as well, being quite close to the rock now. His red orbs scanning up and down the creature as he cleared his throat. "My close friend's grandfather was also the cat and had to deal with the creature you have become." As he looked to his wrist where the bracelet used to be on him as he looked back to the creature. "You should have been given a black and white bracelet, where is it?" If he did not have it then there would be a little bit of an issue. He would have no idea where it would be. Because he didn't think he had it anymore but if they had to go looking for it then they could.

"I'm Kyo Sohma and I happen to kind of sense that something was wrong."
Minoru didn't reply to this, just thought it over. So his name was Kyo Sohma. Interesting. He contemplated telling the man his own name, but that wasn't really important at this point. He growled slightly, not liking that this "Kyo" was here. He just wanted him to go away, to leave him alone.
"Yes I was, I was the cat before you so I know alot about it"
Cat? This creature looked nothing like a cat. He bared his teeth and stared into the water. No, he was too repulsive to be a cat. He was ugly, and smelled horrid. This was nothing like what a cat was supposed to be. Cats were cute, fluffy, and adorable. People, especially girls, fawned over them obsessively. No, no girl would fawn over something as repulsive as him. He snarled at himself. He was still wondering what he had done to deserve being transformed into this hideous thing.
"My close friend's grandfather was also the cat and had to deal with the creature you have become."
So, it hadn't just been him and this Kyo guy. There had been others too. Well, that made him feel better. Not. That just meant that it was his turn to carry the burden of such a repulsive creature. Why couldn't anyone figure out how to get rid of it? Why was he stuck with this? Why him?
"You should have been given a black and white bracelet, where is it?"
A bracelet? That was ridiculous. This man was speaking as if this was all planned. As if! If this had all been planned out, he wouldn't be in the middle of a forest looking like the monster out of some horror movie. He snarled, loudly this time, and turned to glare at the man who seemed so educated about this. "Bracelet? Some girly piece of jewelry? Haha, don't make me laugh. You're speaking as if this whole thing was planned out from the beginning. Well, it wasn't. I don't have any stupid bracelet, I had been in the middle of working when this happened. Haha, the looks on everyone's faces when the restaurant was filled with such a repulsive odor and a horrible monster."
He knew he'd probably get fired from this job for something he couldn't even control. Well, there went his steady income of money, and now he would have to find a new job. If he was ever able to turn back into a human that is.

He was beginning to think what he was saying wasn't going to get through to the kid just yet. But that was expected, it was alot to take in. Even he didn't believe it all at once when he was first told. He didn't think a little bracelet could keep a monster at bay, but it did. This kid was going to figure it out too. But seeing his reaction, hearing him speak he sighed. He was beginning to get a little annoyed. But he was trying his best to keep his temper under control, but then again he knew this was typical, most of the cats had attitudes. So the one he was getting from this kid actually wasn't too surprising. But if someone threw a attitude at him he normally threw his right back. But right now, he was going to stay calm or at least try to. He didn't want to explode at this kid, only because he was mainly just confused and hurt. He felt this way when he learned of the monster he had carry around inside of him, mainly inside his heart. But he was going to do his best to let the kid know that this thing could be handled and kept under control if you knew how.
Thinking it over he was trying to think of what to say. He could of course just snap right back at him but that wasn't the route he wanted to take. So he just took a deep breath to calm himself and then looked right back at him. "Yes a bracelet, it might not sound too thrilling but believe me, it helps" Kyo got thinking about it and then lowered his head a little bit, just trying to rethink everything. He thought Akito would have had the bracelet but he couldn't since this kid didn't have it. He then lifted his head, he pushed back his wet hair. He hoped he didn't still have the bracelet even though it wasn't on his wrist, that didn't mean he didn't still have it. "Without that bracelet you will not return to your normal form, I was in the same state, I know what I'm talking about." His tone had changed a little bit. There was a hint of annoyance in it. But he couldn't help it right now, even though he was doing his best to not blow up.
Kyo then checking himself, going through everything. But then suddenly he felt something. He went fishing through his pocket and then his eyes widened as he pulled something out. And of course behold it was the bracelet. "d**n it, I had it this whole time!" He thought to himself. He mentally yelled at himself, he couldn't believe he still had it. He then looked back over to the kid and then took a deep breath as he held it in his hand. He guessed he wouldn't be willing to have him put it on. But he was going to try. "Here, let me put it on you and you'll return to normal but you will need to keep this one at all times. If you don't...you will become this monster..and maybe even hurt someone..." He was speaking the truth. He hurt someone he loved and he didn't want to do it again. He didn't want to see it happen to anyone else, not if he could control it and could stop it and prevent it.

"Yes a bracelet, it might not sound too thrilling but believe me, it helps."
Minoru doubted this guy. How could a silly little bracelet stop him from turning into this thing? That was a question he didn't really favor finding out, and just listened quietly to the man. It didn't even sound like he had the bracelet in question, so how would that help anything? Sulking quietly, he tried to ignore him, but it didn't sound like he would shut up any time soon.
"Without that bracelet you will not return to your normal form, I was in the same state, I know what I'm talking about."
Oh. So this man was now an expert on whatever he had turned into? Sure, he had claimed to have turned into this beast before, but he had no idea if what the orange-haired man said was true. Maybe he just felt sorry for him and was making up this entire story to make him feel better and believe him, then crush him when there turned out to not be any kind of bracelet like the one he spoke of.
There was a slight rustling noise and he turned around to see the man pull a black and white beaded bracelet from his pocket. Was this the bracelet that would make him normal again? He chuckled. He was getting ahead of himself, he was suddenly believing everything that the man had told him before he had even tried the bracelet on himself. Minoru stood up and walked slowly over to the man.
"Here, let me put it on you and you'll return to normal but you will need to keep this on at all times. If you don't...you will become this monster..and maybe even hurt someone..."
He growled, but held his arm out carefully, looking down and not at Kyo. No, he wouldn't hurt anyone, not even if he was a monster. Kyo was wrong about that; he wouldn't hurt anyone. "You're not lying to me, are you? If you are, I won't hesitate to kill you." he snarled, and stepped closer to the former cat, his arm still held out though, waiting for the bracelet to be put on his wrist.

Things seemed to be calming down a little bit. But he could tell the creature still had on a high guard. It was pretty hard to believe at first tell. Even he had a hard time of believing it when he was first told. Especially with his father because he never let him live it down, especially before hand being accused of his own mother's death. It was that stuff that made him bitter in the first place. Although with how he thought things were beginning to go he was beginning to second guess himself with going this. But he wanted to prevent something really bad for happening, because if this kid hurt someone then he could most likely get hurt himself, or even die for that matter.
But Kyo then noticed that the creature was actually going to go along with him. He was a little shocked but he was glad for it. Because he did want to help him because he knew what it was like. Even though he could tell that the kid didn't like him too much. But that was fine, he wasn't going to stick around much longer anyway. Probably just long enough to make sure he changes back and that'll be it. He really didn't even like to help people anyway so either way he was still pretty shocked he was helping him at all. He could just be a huge jerk and just leave him here. But he was going to try his best to not be that way since it was something he knew.
But he wasn't to used to others who had a stubborn streak like he did. Kyo then heard the creature speak and he shook his head. "No I'm not lying I know how this thing works" as he then heard about being killed he narrowed his eyes a bit. There would be no killing while he was here because he knew he would be changing back so it was fine. But he got up close to the creature and then slipped the bracelet over his wrist and then he backed up. It took a little while but soon he knew he would change back and then maybe he could get to the bottom of things and talk some of it out.
