[/b]THE CURSED SHALL
RISE AGAIN
give me hard times, I’ll work harder, harder
for revolution, hard time for some resolution

Name: Yuudai Inugama
Age: Fifteen
Made-up or Canon: Canon [ dog ]
----
History:
Yuudai was born and only child and, perhaps unfortunately, stayed that way. Like many one-child families, Yuudai was spoiled nearly rotten. His parents were the obsessive type: after it was discovered he was cursed only moments after his birth, his mother and father took to sheltering him from the world. However, as he grew, Yuudai showed a passion for it that they could not contain. Yuudai was quite modest in his childish riches. Eager to please others, he knew to share and practice his manners. He was terribly optimistic from the get-go and, even in times when he was forced to relocate, Yuudai did his best to see the positives of having to start over again.
He has lived in various cities over the entirety of Japan but now, to his excitement, his parents have learned there are others like him. People cursed to change into animals just as he is. So Yuudai will start over from the beginning again. But this time, maybe, things will really be for the best.

Sample RP:
She purses her lips against the fist pressed to her mouth and wonders if she made the right decision.
The thoughts don't often leave her. Right now, her eyes taking a no doubt short break to stare unfocused across the room, Tien wonders if this is right. She has always questioned herself. For years, it was the sole reason her father's patriarchal ideas of family were upheld. It was the reason he could take and take and Tien would stand down and let him. The only confidence she finds is in knowledge. In holding a book in her hand and absorbing what it has to whisper to her and holding those printed words tight as if it'll make the world become as simple as black text on white paper. But people steal, people fight, people die. And right now, right here, Tien can't do anything about it. Sometimes she wonders how one leads to the other. Most of the time, she understands.
She is a curious girl. When her peers worry about midterms, about friends and dates, she worries about the world. She worries about her future. She worries and hates her parents. She worries that she will not be happy. She worries that, in the end, she is helpless. She worries that she can't save anyone.
She wonders when she decided she needed to be the hero.
Why?
Strangely violet eyes click into focus like the shutter of a camera. They lift from corner of the room to drag around it, observing. She remembers the slice of cheesecake she'd ordered, if only so they wouldn't kick her out when she spent half the day reading. The hand at her mouth drops to the table. She debates, then takes the fork, cuts off a piece of the dessert and pops it into her mouth. The taste is divine and Tien closes her eyes as she chews.
Her fingers brush the pages of the open book before her.
Her eyes open again and she knows, right or wrong, she's chosen and she'll finish it. She leans back in her chair. She finds her place. She reads until the world falls away and there is nothing but black and white. She doesn't hear that voice again, whispering in the back, under the words that fly off the page.
