THE CURSED SHALL RISE AGAIN

(Where you hear noise, I hear joyous music.)
Let the Stars Read your Future
Name: Nobumi Tsuki
Age: 16 years old
Made-up or Canon: Canon - New Zodiac
History:
Nobumi was born the daughter of a famous Japanese musician and a very skilled American doctor. She had a stable, though strict early childhood, filled with learning. Her parents were firm believers that music enhanced the brain's ability to learn, so she grew up surrounded by it.
She was born in New York City, loving the hustle and bustle of the heavily trafficked streets. She listened to the world around her, filled with a music that few would recognise, even from a young age, and that music is reflected in what she writes. She has played violin since she was a fery small child and has also, since moving to Japan, become somewhat skilled with the koto her grandparents bought her for her twelfth birthday.
She was submitted to some tragedy when she was eleven. Her father was mugged and killed in an ally near their home. Her mother, scared for the safety of her child, annd estranged with her family, packed their things and headed to Japan to stay with her musician father's family. She fit in well in Japan, having learned both English and Japanese from an early age. She looked very Japanese, as well, the resemblance to her father striking.
But recently, many would noticed she had started to change somewhat. Become more introverted. Not that she was ever an outgoing person. But she seems to go out of her way to avoid people these days in a way she never used to. Few know the reason besides her family. Her young cousin, Haku had reached about her neck one day as she knelt in garden to play with the toddler. It was to the shock and dismay of all present that she promptly transformed into a cow. Her mother, being the doctor she was, had wanted to take her to a hospital immediately, but her grandparents had forbidden it. A grand-daughter who turns into a cow? Disgraceful! Besides, she would be carted away, no doubt, for some malicious science nut to run tests on her. no, they would keep it a secret and run tests of their own at home.
They discovered little, save that it happens only when males hug her and strips of her hair had begun to fade into snowy white. She has made the best of this transition by dying the patches her favorite shade of vibrant pink. Now she and her family are constantly on the look out for any others that may have the same ailment.
You Bare a Curse, that you cannot escape
Personality:
Nobumi is a very quiet teen. Always has been. But lately she has turned to escaping into herself and whatever corners away from others she can find. She's the awkward girl who goes to crowded school events, only to stand back from the crowd and watch and listen, content to not go near the bustle.
She is calm and humble. There are two things in the world she loved more than any other. Her mother (as cold as the woman has always been toward her) and music, though the color pink is a close second.
Nobumi will respond if spoken to, and if she has something to say, she will say it. And she is not the type to stand idly by while something happens that she can prevent. But she wil not go out of her way to introduce herself to people. She waits in the back corners, scared that anyone will discover her.
She still finds solace in her music and is often found with headphones in place and violin in hand. She is a stubborn girl, so if she has made up her mind and you mean to change it, be prepared for her to put up a fight.
Appearance:
Despite her blonde, American mother, Nobumi takes after her father. She has a beauty to her that is more soothing than striking. It is unlikely that she would make anyone swoon at first sight, though the more you look at her, the more you might find you like. She's rather tiny for her age, and seems almost under developed unless wearing something very reveiling, which is rare in public.
She has chin length, silky black hair with vibrant pink strips running around her head and face. It's rare to see her in make up, though a light pink shadow may find it's way around her big, light brown eyes. At times, her eyes might even seem to be a dark honey color.
Black and pink are her favorite colors, so when not in school uniform, she will more likely than not be wearing this color.
Likes: pink, black, music, busy streets, wind chimes, thunder storms, ninja movies, odango, being on stage before a large crowd, Haku(for his unconditional love of her)
Dislikes: silence, being alone, her ox-i-ness, her mother's tests, the way her grandparents pretend to still love her, her fear of flirting with boys and how they might react to her
Have any special skills: Very skilled with stringed instruments, rather skilled with self defence using her hand, momentum, gravity and very rarely a knife(she carries a small pocket knife most everywhere she goes)
Year in school: Highschool
((I do hope you don't mind my editting a bit. It helps me get my character in my head.))
Here is where the Path must end
Sample RP:
Nobumi pulled her headphones off her head, letting them rest wrapped about her neck as she knelt down in the soft dirt, watching her little cousin toddle towards her, arms outstretched and smile upon his face. He was the most precious thing her no-good, alcoholic aunt could have left for her. The little blonde boy had been born in Japan and Nobumi's mother was given custody. The plan was that until Nobumi was capable of caring for him, he would legally be her brother instead of her son. Her mother just didn't have time to raise another young child, and their grandparents were simply too old.
Rather than terrifying her, this knowledge made Nobumi excited and proud. She would be trusted with the care of this beautiful and highly intelligent little boy! She could not understand what would drive any mother to disposing of him at birth. It was Nobumi who named him. By all rights but the paperwork, he was hers. He even called her omma.
But this was still some years away. And Nobumi was quickly brought out of these happy thoughts into the arms of her loving Haku. It took but a second for both of them to realise something was very wrong. A puff of smoke, a wierd tingling feeling and Nobumi was staring down at her boy with confusion in her eyes at the confusion in his. "Haku?" she asked, as the boy's hands moved from around her neck and rested on her snout. Wait...Snout?
The black and white cow, which is what her family had just seen her become, turned to her mother and grandmother. "I feel strange..." was all she said before the creams of the other two women reverberated in the garden.
