All while the battle took place a young nobody had kept keen eyes on both of them as they sparred on taking hit after hit at each other only to block with expert timing or miss with failed attempt. The girl gave a wide smile as she was watching now from a distance on the top ledge of one of the high walls that surrounded and enclosed the beautiful courtyard. She had arrived not too long ago, about a few minutes or so but the things she had witness certainly gave her feeling of what was to come of her own encounter in this place. Flipping her black hair from her right eye she arose to her full posture from a crouching pose she had landed in as she had jumped and potential climbed a tiny bit to the top of the high wall. Placing a hand to her hip she kept her eyes locked to the combatants as the breeze of the wind swept over them making her black jacket sway with her hair in unison. She was of course in her usual attire, her black short length jacket, white undershirt, black pants with a green and yellow belt as well as big black leather boots and various pieces of jewelery, and as far as she could tell she was ready for battle. Or so she was trying to convince herself anyway. It was a gut vs head debate within her own body on this very day. Her gut was saying go for it and kick some ass but her head was being logic and keeping her informed on how she was still too inexperienced for such a job. Shaking the thoughts that rushed through her head like a massive traffic jam she tried to keep the wicked smile as she gave a low and barely audiable sigh. "It's time Axis..." She thought to herself semi-enthsiastically as the nervous butterfly feeling in her stomach began to become strong again. There was no way she was gonna pass and she knew it but what the hell... It was too late to turn around now.
Watching for a few more moments Axis had her attention directed to Ren and the various now floating objects and weaponry that surrounded him. Quite the amazing skill, levitation on command. Impressive. Crossing her arms her smile turned hard as she gazed over at Leo wondering how he would manage this attack. So far the guardian had been doing well to hold his own against the angelic warrior with his fire wind based magic and other melée attacks. But could he continue to hold out and keep dishing out against this boy? Just as fast as the attacks had stopped Ren had started a full onslaught and assualt throwing the many weapons with excellent accuracy and precission in Leo's general direction and flying straight at the half-wolf being. As soon as she could see the weapons sent rocketing she was taken back by the following sounds of rapid gunfire which made her jump back a bit. Regaining her footing before she fell off the ledge Axis gave a look that showed her sudden amazement with the raw power and skill that the Angel had. He was definitely quite the warrior and for sure with no doubt would most likely make it amoung the ranks of the Guardians of Restoration. That is if Leo could look over his apparent arrogant nature that the wolf seemed to find in the angel. Not that he himself was any better. Of course she meant no disrespect to Leo but he wasn't acting of good spirits either. From what she could tell he had his own attitude of arrogance showing in him. Acting as if Ren himself was nothing but a leaf blowing in the wind. That's why when Leo finally spoke that he admitted to Ren's fair fighting skills she became somewhat relieved with the both of them.
Seeing as the battle was getting only more hectic and most likely not hitting it's end just yet Axis was content on waiting till she would meet eye to eye with her own sparring partner and begin her own initiation into the GoR, or atleast die trying. Looking around in all direction she could tell she had no one at the current moment but soon her chance would come no doubt and she would have to start her test. That when it hit her, she had remembered suddenly! "Crap! I'm supposed to be on my way to the spot!" She began to freak out as she looked at the battle one last time before turning and heading the way she had come. Jumping off the ledge she landed with a hard thud against the ground which left a good sound visible to any attentive ear. With that she began to rush her ass in the direction of what would be her battle arena of the day. And hopefully she would escape the imperial guards which now headed inthe direction of where she had been after hearing her landing. She had looked over her shoulder for just a split second just enough to see one guard stop and check before heading back to his post. When he had she turned her eyes forward and focused running at full speed towards the outskirts of town. According to the letter she had recieved from Lord Leo himself earlier that week she was to meet a man by the name of Daimen who would be the tester and of course she was also going to meet one of the many teammates that she would team up with now and hopefully later on in this future if she could prove herself worthy. Ten minutes of so passed and she was rushing for time hoping to make it in a decent time or atleast before she would miss her chance. Her legs were beginning to become sore and stiff as she forced with her might to move as fast as possible straining her muscles even more. Rounding a corner she dashed down the dirt path and in the distance she could see the magnificent design of cherry blossoms dancing in the wind and the trees which had recently bloomed by the looks of it. This of course became the motive as Axis pushed herself more to the point where she found herself soon enough approching the area and entering her own place of battle. As she had reached them she stopped her chest tightened even with no heart she struggled for air to fill her lungs. Bending slightly she placed her hands on her knees looking up at Daimen and then Zihark who was off on the side as she tried to talk between large heaves for oxygen. "Sorry if I'm... *huff* Late... I got... *huff huff* a little confused on the location... *huff* Please forgive me." As her body seemed to even itself again and the soreness in her legs numbed out and disappeared completely she rose again to her stature and greeted them with a bow out of natural hospitality. "Axis, reporting for duty" She remarked with a weak smile back on her face.
